The fans will be rather disheartened to know that the other superheroes too are possibly planning to retire soon.

It was really heart-breaking for all superhero fans when Hugh Jackman and Sir Patrick Stewart announced that "Logan" was the end of their journey as X-Men's Wolverine and Professor Charles Xavier, respectively. The fans will be rather disheartened to know that the other superheroes too are possibly planning to retire soon.

Marvel Cinematic Universe's core Avengers members Iron Man and Captain America has already completed their solo trilogies and Thor is to wrap up this year itself. The core team will reportedly appear for two more movies after which it is quite uncertain.

As for Evans, it seems retirement is just round the corner. He has already revealed that he signed the contract with Marvel is for only six-pictures. So far, he has already completed three "Captain America" movies and also two "Avengers" movies. He is confirmed to be starring in the next two "Avengers" movies, if Marvel doesn't change their mind, "Avengers 4" could be Evan's last movie as Captain America.

Moreover, Evans has made the viewers aware about him leaving the franchise from a pretty long time. In fact, in an interview in 2014, the actor clearly revealed that the movies will possibly be wrapped by 2017. He also added that he would like to explore the other fields like directing and to also would like to take up different roles in movies, other than being a superhero.

The massive fan-followers of MCU and Captain America cannot imagine anyone else as Captain America and doesn't want MCU to remove Evans from the role.

Giving a little hope to the fans, Evans clarified that he is not completely shutting his doors after "Avengers 4" ends. He can totally come back as Captain America if the future movies demand and Marvel wants him to.

Evans told Collider, "I love the character. The only reason it would end is 'cause my contract is up. After Avengers 4, my contract is done. Talk to Marvel. If we engage further, I'd be open to it."
