Actor Yoo Ah In's agency, UAA Entertainment has confirmed that the actor is suffering from bone tumour. The South Korean celebrity was diagnosed with the disease during his general check-up before he leaves for his military enlistment.

The actor gained popularity after being part of the "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" cast and after starring in the drama "Secret Love Affair."

Though Yoo's fans are extremely worried and are eager to know if the condition is serious or not, UAA Entertainment did not reveal much details. "It's true that Yoo Ah In has been diagnosed with a bone tumor. At the moment we cannot say whether or not it is serious. This is a sensitive matter because it's a personal one," said the agency.

The agency also said that the actor needs some alone time and privacy and urges fans not to interfere much.

Bone tumours generally appear on the joints as well as in the bones and the cartilages. A surgical removal is an option if the condition is not worse.

Yoo Ah In was supposed to enlist in military service this year as it was delayed due to a shoulder injury. As part of the proceeding, he was asked to get medical clearance and that is when he got the shocking news.

As medical service is only possible if one gets a clean bill of health, it seems that Yoo's term will be postponed for an indefinite time.

Fans hope and pray for the quick recovery of the 30-year-old actor.
