Nam Joo Hyuk, Shin Se Kyung talk about their past and finding happiness

'The Bride of Habaek' or 'Bride of the Water God' ended on August 22. Its starts, Nam Joo-hyuk and Shin Se-kyung have since kept a relatively low profile; appearing in a few interviews where they talked about their drama and posing for photo shoots. The actors recently posed for two different fashion magazines and shared their thoughts on youth and looking back into the past to find happiness.

As noted by website Allkpop, Nam Joo-hyuk posed for the cover of 'Esquire Singapore's' latest October issue. He wore dresses that reflected the fall/winter season in Paris, France. The 'Bride of the Water God' actor was asked to give his thoughts on what youth meant to him.

Nam Joo-hyuk replied, "It's not easy to define, but I think it's the twinkling moments in life. Since I know such precious moments won't return, I'm doing the best I can. I believe one should enjoy life and do the things he/she wants to do during his/her time of youth."

Nam Joo-hyuk debuted as a model for the SONGZIO Homme Spring/Summer 2014 collection in the year 2013. The following year he made his acting debut with a supporting role in tvN drama 'The Idle Mermaid.' In 2016, he played a supporting role in tvN's successful romantic drama series 'Cheese in the Trap; which also starred Lee Sung-kyung.

Lee Sung-kyung and Nam Joo-hyuk started under the same modelling agency, YGK-Plus and co-starred in the hit television drama 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo.' They dated briefly before separating due to busy schedules.

Like Nam Joo-hyuk, actress Shin Se-kyung, who starred with him in 'Bride of the Water God,' also posed for a photo shoot with Marie Claire magazine, at Bangkok, Thailand. She was also sporting fall attires. In an interview with the fashion magazine, Shin Se-kyung talked about a happy moment from the sets of her latest fantasy drama.

"While filming for 'Bride of the Water God' the staff members gifted me with handwritten letters for my birthday. That had to be one of the happiest moments. I feel very grateful to be able to look back on my past blessings instead of searching for something in the distant future," Shin Se-kyung said. She also enjoyed her stay in Bangkok and said, "I was so delighted each day staying in Bangkok since I love the food here...Their coconut milk-based desserts are truly works of art!"

Nam Joo-hyuk is currently filming the upcoming historical movie 'Ansi Fortress' with actors Jo In-sung, Park Sung-woong and Seolhyun among others. Shin Se-kyung on the other hand, is in talks to appear in a new KBS drama with the working title 'Black Knight.' She and actor Kim Rae-won have been offered the leading roles. It is a fantasy-romance drama that's set to air in December, this year.
