Rockstar Games has just released a new update for GTA Online comprising the new Power Play Adversary mode and the Grotti X80 Proto supercar, which is in line with the recent rumours. The new update is now available on all three major gaming platforms including the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Power Play Adversary mode
GTA Online players can now use some insane power-ups to "change the rules of the urban warfare" in the new Power Play Adversary mode. The Power Play mode enables gamers to even the odds against their opponents with game-changing special abilities and power boosts such as the Beasted, Zoned, Doped, Raging, Flipped and the Dark.
However, the effects of these six power-ups are temporary and hence it is imperative to use them wisely. Check out the full list of power-ups along with the description for each of them as reported by Rockstar on Newswire:
Beasted: Transform into the Beast and use special powers like invisibility, super jump, and super strength.
Zoned: Slow down time for all players, giving snipers a tactical advantage over exposed enemies.
Doped: Dull your enemy's senses with a trippy green haze; they'll never see that flank coming...
Raging: Unleash a rampage with your entire team by inflicting increased damage while taking reduced damage.
Flipped: Scramble your opponents by picking up Flipped, temporarily inverting all enemy camera controls and mixing team chat to truly get in their heads.
Dark: Take your team off the grid for well-timed sneak attacks.
Although these special power-ups are limited to once per round, it clearly helps you to neutralise and counteract enemy team advantages or gain an upper-hand over your rivals early in the match.
The Power Play Adversary mode is now available as the default playlist via Jobs menu and offers 2X GTA$ and RP throughout the week. Grotti X80 Proto
The blazing-fast Grotti X80 Proto is now available for purchase via Legendary Motorsport in GTA Online for $2.7m. The X80 supercar is reportedly designed for extreme high-speeds, which is a prerequisite for making Special Cargo deliveries in stipulated time.
As Rockstar Games puts it, "Escaping wanted levels has never looked so good." The Grotti X80 Proto is both theoretically and practically the fastest supercar in the game till date.
Special Grotti-themed T-shirt
