A new tvN drama Chicago Typewriter (working title) is on its way and lead role has been reportedly offered to actor Yoo Ah. Actress Park Shin Hye was allegedly linked to this project in December 2016.

In late December last year, the reports surfaced that the actress will be associated with this new drama. However, the actress' agency debunked it all saying that the actress did not receive any official offer.

The upcoming tvN drama is from the screenwriter of The Moon that Embraces the Sun and Kill Me, Heal Me. Reportedly, the drama will be airing soon in March but the cast is not confirmed yet. Yoo Ah In has been officially offered the lead role but he is also considering other projects.

The series gained a lot of excitement as the reports of possibly starring one of the most-loved actress, Park Shin Hye started circulating. Now, the focus is totally on Yoo Ah and whether he'll do the project or not.

If early reports bear some truth and Park Shin Hye stars in the new series, it would be her next drama after Doctor Crush (2016). As for Yoo Ah In, this may be his last project before the military service.

According to the reports, the new drama would be about writers as it is suggested in the title of the drama itself. According to HanCinema.net, the storyline of drama revolves around writers from the 1930s who are reincarnated into the modern day "as a best-selling writer in a slump, an anti-fan, and a ghostwriter."

The unique storyline with another interesting reincarnation twist and the time set in the 1930s is undoubtedly captivating but who will be the lead stars and what their characters would be like, is still not known.
