South Korean model and actor Yang Se-jong, known for debuting with hit television drama 'Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim,' talked about the pressure of taking on a leading role for the first time in a drama.
As noted by website Soompi, Yang Se-jong attended a press conference on September 1 for SBS's upcoming TV drama 'Temperature of Love.' The actor revealed his thoughts on being the lead in a drama for the first time and said, "I would be lying if I said I didn't feel any pressure. I usually really feel the pressure in a short amount of time, and then it passes. I'm the type of person who tends to focus on the important things that are given to me in the moment."

Yang Se-jong will play a character called Ohn Jung-sun, who happens to be a chef. The actor said that he has some talent as a cook and prepared some dishes successfully, on the first night of filming, which began on August 9 in Gangnam, Seoul.
In addition to Yang Se-jong, the drama also has actress Seo Hyun-jin playing the female lead role of lee Hyun-soo, a drama writer. Regarding the casting, producing director (PD) Nam Geon said, "Lee Hyun-soo and On Jeong-sun had to be Seo Hyun-jin and Yang Se-jong," adding, "Starting from the script reading, the atmosphere was just great. The atmosphere and connection between the staff and actors were amazing, so internally, there are already high expectations."
The PD was also all praise for Yang Se-jong and said, "From his looks to everything else, [Yang Se-jong] is the perfect person to play On Jeong-sun. I am very happy with his acting as well. Above anything else, he's so handsome." He also said, "Yang Se-jong tries very hard for his character. On set, he is very passionate. I see him as On Jeong-sun, not Yang Se-jong."
As for Seo Hyun-jin, the PD said, "Seo Hyun Jin is an actress that every director wants to work with. It's the best casting I could have asked for," before adding, "From the beginning, Lee Hyun Soo was Seo Hyun Jin. Seo Hyun Jin's energy makes Lee Hyun Soo."
'Temperature of Love' will air its first episode on September 18 at 10 p.m. KST. It will occupy the Monday and Tuesday time slots.
