Prolific Italian hacker and jailbreak developer, Luca Todesco (aka @qwertyoruiop), has recently confirmed via Twitter that Yalu1011 jailbreak will be coming to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with limited support for iOS 10.1.1. Unlike the Mach_Portal+Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10.1.1, the latest Yalu1011 tool will be based on Yalu102 features which are more stable than the original.

This bit of news should come in as a big relief to all iPhone 7/7 Plus owners who are anxious to jailbreak their device on any iOS 10 firmware with fully-functional Cydia app. Basically, it means the Yalu1011 jailbreak will feature the original exploits from Mach_Portal+Yalu jailbreak solution being ported to the modified version of Yalu102 jailbreak for iOS 10.1.1.

This change is especially significant as the existing Yalu102 jailbreak does not support jailbreaking iPhone 7 and 7 Plus on iOS 10.2, while all non-iPhone 7 64-bit devices have already been jailbroken on the latest iOS firmware. The icing on the cake is that the modified Yalu102 aka Yalu1011 will be more stable than the original jailbreak for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus on iOS 10.1.1.

Although Todesco may not work on developing future jailbreaks for iOS 10.2.1 and higher, he has clarified that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will at least get a fully-working and highly-stable jailbreak solution under the yalu1011 moniker for the older iOS 10 – 10.1.1 firmware.
