After the success of MBC's Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, actress Lee Sung Kyung is said to be reviewing various drama offers and will take a call soon. Meanwhile, it is widely speculated that Lee has been offered the lead role in SBS's new drama Be Careful of This Woman, which will be aired on Wednesday and Thursday.

The drama is a romantic thriller set to be aired in May 2017. Set in the prosecutors' office and courts, it revolves around woman named Eun Bong Hee, a Taekwondo lover who becomes a judicial apprentice.

Lee's agency YG Entertainment stated: "Lee Sung Kyung has been approached to appear in the drama, and is currently reviewing the offer."

SBS added: "Lee Sung Kyung is indeed one of the potential candidates for the leading role," as translated by Soompi.

Known for her roles in Cheese in the Trap, and Doctor Crush, Lee's first leading role was Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. It is a coming-of-age sports drama, inspired by the life of Olympic gold-medalist Jang Mi-ran. The drama explored the lives of a group of college athletes who are fighting for their dreams, experiencing and finding love in the process, and growing every step on the way. The Cornell Sun opined: "Overall, while Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo did deliver a love story. It was done so in a beautiful, highly engaging way rather than being sappy, excessively sweet fairy-tale like romance."

In an interview with Korea Joongang Daily, Lee said: "I thought it would seem too much if I tried to look funny. So I put effort into becoming Kim Bok Joo in reality by following her routine, speech, and attitude, which made me feel more comfortable while ad-libbing."

Lee Sung Kyung stated also added that the drama was a dream come true.
