The Artists Rebuilding Their Lives In Cyclone-hit Beira

When Intense Tropical Cyclone Idai struck Mozambique in March, it not only killed more than 1,000 people and left thousands missing, it destroyed for many survivors their way of life. Newsweek spoke to the artists, dancers and musicians who live in the coastal city of Beira about the destruction caused by the cyclone and floods, and how despite what they have suffered they are trying to use the creative passions to rebuild their lives.
