Success and TWICE go hand-in-hand. The 9-member team recently created history with the pre-order bookings of the Christmas edition of their third mini-album TWICE coaster: Lane 1. According to their agency, JYP Entertainment, the album has surpassed 115,000 pre-order booking before release.

Now, their single TT has secured 100 million YouTube hits in just 71 days, becoming the fastest K-pop group to achieve it. With this, they have broken their previous record of 100 million views in 207 days for their single Cheer Up.

TT is the lead track off the group's third EP 'TWICE coaster: LANE1.' The video for TWICE's debut single "Like OOH-AHH" also topped 100 million views on YouTube last November. By such an accomplishment in just a year and two months since debut, (we) can see TWICE's steep growth curve," JYP Entertainment said in a statement as Yonhap news.

The album was released on October 24, 2016, and contained seven tracks, including the lead single, 'TT' produced by Black Eyed Pilseung who also composed Twice's hit songs 'Like OOH-AHH' and 'Cheer Up'. TT's music video has the members showcasing different personalities and famous characters through Halloween-themed cosplays.

In 2016, the girls are already having a dream run by selling about 225,000 copies of their two versions of the third mini-album. According to the Gaon chart, the girls sold 220,000 copies of the album so far, making TWICE the highest selling girl group in Gaon's history as well.

And most recently the band was praised for their professionalism at an awkward situation during the end-of-the-year K-pop special event, the 2016 SBS Gayo Daejun. When the members were ready to perform, the event organizers accidentally played a different track instead of 'TT'. However, TWICE girls remained in their position until the error was rectified and the show continued.

Started in 2015, the road to success was never a catwalk for TWICE but they made sure to trounce all the hurdles with hard work and excellence. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Today, with an amazing fan base across the globe, TWICE is already compared to two legendary Kpop Girl Bands, 2NE1, and Girls Generation. They are also one of the few Kpop bands to top the Billiboard charts for more than 4 weeks.
