TEE International wins contracts worth S$56.5 mln from LTA

TEE International, which provides mechanical and electrical engineering services, on Monday said its unit received S$56.5 million worth of contracts from Land Transport Authority (LTA).

PBT Engineering Pte got contracts namely Contract 1363A and Contract 1363B for the implementation of noise barriers at rail viaduct phase 2, the company said in a regulatory filing.

For this project, PBT will provide noise barriers along the elevated tracks at existing MRT viaducts in the Eastern, Western and Northern parts of Singapore to mitigate railway noise, it said.

The scope of works includes the design, supply and installation of noise barrier systems at both sides of the existing MRT viaducts, as well as the pre- and post-noise measurement to validate the effectiveness of the noise barrier system, TEE International said.

The contracts are expected to be completed by 2020.

With this latest contract, the total outstanding order book amounted to S$252.8 million.

Shares in TEE International were untraded on Monday morning. The stock has lost 2 percent so far this year.
