After watching the movie, the audience clapped a lot. Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Young waved to the crowd so I followed suit, but the crowd pointed and booed at me."

As for popularity, the actor also discussed his college life and post 'Reply 1994' life. The MCs of 'Happy Together' thought Yoo Yeon-seok must have been quite popular in college. described the actor as a "fantasy college oppa" that girls dream of. The MC had everyone laughing when he added that in reality the girls have to make do with the "reality college oppa" such as himself.

Regarding his student life, Yoo Yeon-seok said, "When I was in school, I was basically a 'school ghost.' I was always at school in my class uniform and lived in the theater," then added, "I wasn't that popular. I was just a CC (campus couple)."

Even though he became more popular after 'Reply 1994,' he insisted that as a person he remained the same. "I debuted in 2003 through 'Old Boy' and nine years later received a lot of love as the character Chil Bong in 'Reply 1994.' There was nothing about me that drastically changed, but people's expectations of me became higher and people looked at me differently, so I felt a lot of pressure," he said.

In the same episode, the actor also talked about filming a kiss scene with actress Seo Hyun-jin in 'Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim.' Yeon-seok revealed that during filming his kiss scene with the actress, he had brought wine to help them relax. "At first, Seo Hyun Jin thought it was ridiculous and laughed, but the atmosphere became sweeter as we talked while drinking wine," the actor recalled.

As for getting kiss scenes right, Yoo Yeon-seok said, "When actors get too absorbed in their own emotions while they're filming kiss scenes, it actually doesn't look as great on screen," adding, "It looks better on camera if you plan it out exactly, just as you would an action scene. If you make the general frame, like tilting your head to one side and then the other, you don't stutter and you can actually focus more on the emotions."
