Reality show Sisters' Slam Dunk is coming back with a second season with seven members.

A report on Soompi stated: "On January 17, a representative of the show revealed that Kim Sook and Hong Jin Kyung will be returning to the show, while Kang Ye Won, Hang Chae Young, Hong Jin Young, Minzy, and Jeon Somi have been confirmed as new cast members."

Fans are curious to see the performance of the new cast, especially since Kang Ye Won, Han Chae Young, and Minzy, as they do not appear on variety shows often.

The show's first season featured an all-female cast consisting of Ra Mi Ran, Kim Sook, Hong Jin Kyung, Min Hyo Rin, Jessi, and Tiffany, and followed their attempts at fulfilling each cast member's dream using a budget of 2,196,000 won which is about $2,000 USD. The cast members formed a special girl group named Unnies and released a Park Jin-young-produced single titled Shut Up, featuring Yoo Hee-yeol, in July 2016.

However, Tiffany sparked controversy when she posted social media images utilizing Japanese flag emoticons on a day before Korea's National Liberation Day. "Koreans were furious with Tiffany's posts, and she took them down and posted two apologies afterward. Still, Koreans wanted to crucify her, blasting her on news and calling for her removal from Unnies' Slam Dunk," Inquisitr stated.

The production team stated to Soompi: "Season one featured the girl group project as just one of the dreams, but for season two, the members will be taking on individual dreams as they prepare to take the stage. Viewers will be able to see a variety of challenges that were not in season one."

The final episode of Season 1 was a memorable experience. The cast meet up with Sung Si-kyung for their three holiday songs. In the following week, they record the song for the last episode. Mi-ran's dream comes to an end with a photo shoot of the cast members along with actor Baek Sung-hyun. And finally, the Unnies say their final words to the viewers.

The second season of Sisters' Slam Dunk is likely to be aired in the middle of February.
