A six-year-old girl died after falling from an Ang Mo Kio Housing Board flat on Tuesday, June 4. Her body was found motionless on the ground floor of the apartment.

The police stated that they were informed at 5:38 pm about the incident which took place at Block 637 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6.

When the paramedics arrived at the location, they found the motionless body at the ground floor and after a check-up pronounced her dead.

As per the Lianhe Wanbao, the Chinese-language newspaper, the girl had fallen from the 11th floor of the apartment.

A domestic helper, Letecia, who works at an opposite block told the newspaper that at around 3 pm on Tuesday, she saw that girl, standing at the kitchen window while shouting "daddy."

The woman also stated that she noticed the girl was crying for at least 10 minutes before leaving the kitchen window. Almost one hour later, she again saw the girl, crying loudly for her father.

The domestic helper, who is in her 50s, told the newspaper that at around five o'clock in the evening, she again heard the girl's voice but suddenly the cries stopped after she heard a loud noise. When the woman, who was cooking at the kitchen, looked out of the window, she saw that the girl was laying on the ground.
