Following is the chronology of tennis queen Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian's love story, which began in 2015.
September 2015: During the US Open tournament when Alexis posted a picture on social media stating "Come at the queen, you best not miss. #USOpen", it was the time when the first rumour about their growing relationship arose.
May 2016: Throughout the year (2015) Alexis has given many hints on social media. He posted another picture on Instagram, which showcased Serena playing 2015 Italian Open and the caption said "Looks like I just became a tennis fan."
July 2016: The next hint of their relationship came in July when Alexis posted another suspicious photo. He took the picture of his laptop where he was watching Serena live on a tennis court. Later in the same year, he kept posting other photos which gradually twisted the spotlight towards a new warm relationship.
August 2016: Stories about the relationship started to pop up when Serena posted a group photo along with Alexis on social media. She gave a caption to that, where she wrote "Flash back Friday. Our team the Kryptonians doing a team-building exercise. I love this pic cause it shows our personalities."
December 2016: After all those rumours and speculations finally at the end of the year the 36-year-old confirmed that she has found her love of life and going to get married soon. She broke the news via a Reddit post, where she wrote, "I came home/A little late/Someone had a bag packed for me/And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome/To escort me to my very own 'charming/Back to where our stars first collided/And now it was full circle/At the same table we first met by chance/But by choice/ Down on knee/He said 4 words/And I said yes."
January 2017: Serena showed her big diamond engagement ring in public during Australian Open.
September 2017: The American ace missed all the tournaments after 2017 Australian Open due to her pregnancy and gave birth to Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. on 1 September.
November 2017: On 17 November, the former world No. 1 Serena and her soul-mate got married at Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans.
