Samsung has started working on Galaxy S9, says report

One of the reasons for Samsung being so early to start developing the next flagship model is the stricter quality control process of the company.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has just been released a few days back and the internet is flooded with information about it. While Galaxy S8 is yet to available at stores, the South Korean smartphone giant has already started working on their next move – the Galaxy S9, which is expected to be released within a year.

As reported Phone Arena, citing the Korean news outlet The Bell, Samsung has been working on the display panels of the Galaxy S9 since late March and if what these sources are saying is true then Samsung is already six months ahead of its schedule.

One of the reasons for Samsung being so early to start developing the next flagship model is the stricter quality control process of the company, which was set up right after the S7 debacle.

As per the report, the team behind the S9's display panel have set a goal of supplying samples by mid-April and other parts of the phone will go under development one month after the display panels are supplied.

However, there is no further information about speculated specifications of the smartphone. It is anyways to early to anticipate anything about Galaxy S9 given the fact that the Galaxy S8 did not even hit the stores yet. Galaxy S8 will go on sale from April 21, as announced by Samsung.
