SBS's variety show 'Running Man' had begun airing way back in July 2010. Come July, 2017, the show will complete its seventh anniversary. PD Jung Chul-min talked about how he wants to celebrate the completion of seven years of the show.

As noted by website Soompi, in a recent interview with a media outlet, Jung Chul-min said, "Our 7th anniversary special will air on July 12." He added that the showrunners and SBS are currently planning about how best to celebrate the seventh anniversary of 'Running Man. ' Jung Chul-min used to work as an assistant director of the show in the early days of 'Running Man' and was then promoted as its program director.

Chul-min reminisced fondly about the bygone days of 'Running Man' with the old cast and how he'd like to invite some of them back to the show on the July 12 episode, as guests. "When I was an assistant director, Joong-ki and Kwang-soo were the young ones. Joong-ki was very sincere and kind back then, as well. I want to invite him as a guest, but Joong-ki is very busy. I want to send him an official offer this time, also, but I am not sure how it will turn out," he said.

Song Joong-ki was an original member of 'Running Man' who stayed from episode 1 till 41 as a regular member. The 'Descendants of the Sun' star then made a few cameos and guest appearances. Lee Kwang-soo is of course, still a part of the team.

The PD also talked about Gary, saying, "Gary unfortunately left "Running Man" to focus on music. He has made a few appearances since he left, and we will always welcome him if he says he will come." Since leaving 'Running Man' in November, last year, Gary too made a few appearances on the show.

The rapper also got married in secret recently and has seemingly stopped communicating with his 'Running Man' colleagues and friends.

Meanwhile, actress Jung Hye-sung, who guest starred in the June 18 episode of 'Running Man,' confessed to liking Kwang-soo a lot. Throughout the episode, Jung Hye-sung was seen holding Kwang-soo's hand, hugging him from behind and even teasing him by saying he's adorable.

Lee Kwang-soo has also bagged the role of the male lead in an upcoming drama series, tentatively titled 'Live.' He will play a young police officer in the drama, which is written by well-known South Korean television screenwriter and essayist Noh Hee-kyung.
