Actors Park Seo-joon and Kang Ha-neul, who are starring in upcoming action, comedy movie 'Midnight Runners,' will be appearing as guests on SBS's variety show 'Running Man.'
Website Soompi notes that on July 26, Park Seo-joon and Kang Ha-neul were confirmed to be appearing in an upcoming episode of the long-running variety show. This is presumably part of the promotional campaign for 'Midnight Runners.'
A source from SBS said, "Park Seo-joon and Kang Ha-neul will be filming on July 31. An exact broadcast date for their episode has not been decided upon as of yet. It is currently slated to air sometime around mid-August."
Park Seo-joon has already made cameo appearances on 'Running Man' in five episodes from 2014 to 2016. Kang Ha-neul, on the other hand, has appeared three times on the show from 2014 to 2016.
Their movie 'Midnight Runners,' directed by Kim Hoo-hwan, is about two Korean National Police University students who chance upon a kidnapping and have to track it down themselves after the authorities fail to find proper evidence to support the case.
Recently, notes Soompi, the actors complimented each other and had a bit of fun, teasing each other. On the July 23 broadcast of 'Section TV,' to promote 'Midnight Runners,' Park Seo-joon was asked to rate his chemistry with Kang Ha-neul. He gave it a 100 out of 100, prompting the latter to say, "Now this is chemistry."
Park Seo-joon then said, "Ha-neul is really handsome. He does a lot of good deeds, too." To this, Kang Ha-neul replied by saying, "Park Seo Joon is really sexy. He has such a pretty forehead." The interviewer further asked if Kang Ha-neul had taken a look at Park Seo-joon's back muscles. Kang Ha-neul hilariously replied, "I've seen them a lot. I've seen much more than that actually."
In a V Live broadcast on July 19, Park Seo-joon had revealed about Kang Ha-neul, "This was my first time working with him but I understood why people had so many good things to say about him." He had added, "He's really kind and friendly and laughs easily. I'm older than he is but I learned a lot from him. From both his character and his acting, I had a lot to learn."
