The popular variety show Running Man will welcome actress Kim So Hyun this Christmas for the special episode. This week, Moon Embracing the Sun actress Kim So Hyun will be the special guest.
According to the promo, in the variety show for "Running Man" episode 331, Kim So Hyun will possibly be the Bad Santa. The translation of the promo reads: "Come quickly... I have a present for you. I have prepared a curse for you - Bad Santa's curse. Winter in 2016, Bad Santa's curse came finding Running Man. What's the truth behind the naivety? Christmas with bad Santa."
Lots of controversies revolved around the popular variety show after Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo were forced out of the show. Before the fans could recover from that shock, it was revealed that the show will be ending in February 2017, which they decided after a meeting with the producers and the cast members of the show.
According to the reports, Kang Ho Dong was offered to be a part of the Running Man show. However, he has refused the offer.
Kang Ho Dong's label released a statement revealing his position. According to Yibada, it read: "Kang Ho Dong was given an offer for SBS 'Running Man Season 2', and he did make the decision to join after giving it a deep thought. We don't know every detail of the situation, but we don't want Kang Ho Dong's appearance to be uncomfortable to the viewers even a little bit. With that in mind, we feel hurt and sorry, but will politely decline the offer."
According to allkpop the statement was: "We apologize for creating complications to the loving fans of 'Running Man', the producers, and SBS associates who made the offer. We apologize."
