Big Bang choosing not to appear on KBS Network has given rise to a lot of speculation these days. There are even reports that there is a tiff between YG Entertainment and KBS.

Recently, a source from KBS told Soompi that the situation was not right for the appearance and there is no fallout. "It is not true that Big Bang's appearance on an end-of-year program fell through. We had positive talks with YG's side, but the situation just wasn't right this time. Please refrain from wild speculations."

The source further added: "The program's producing directors and YG Entertainment were in talks about the appearance, but just because we have meetings with the celebrity or manager doesn't mean that all singers end up appearing on the show. Casting is inherently under the PD's control. It's speculation to think that we reject a particular agency or have bad feelings toward them. It's not good to make negative reports through overly simplistic deductions or outside hopes. It's possible that the timing just wasn't right."

Responding to the rumours, YG Entertainment released a statement to clarify the issue. "In order to appear on the KBS music program, Big Bang tried to keep the ball in the air, but since they didn't get an answer, their appearance fell through."

This statement has now said to have caused a huge rift between the two media giants. On the other hand, Big Bang has been making special appearances on all the popular show to promote their latest album, "Fxxxk It". They have MBC's popular variety shows "Infinity Challenge," "Radio Star" and with their appearance on "Weekly Idol" to be aired on the first two weeks of January.

This will be the boy group's last album together as one of its members T.O.P is beginning his military enlistment from February.

The five members - G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, have been a runaway hit ever since their debut in 2006. T.O.P has already left an emotional goodbye video for his fans on his social media page. He wrote: "We will be saying goodbye temporarily. Stay healthy. I think I'll miss you guys very much. I'll come back after a lot of growth."
