Overview

Real Madrid made it to the 2016 Fifa Club World Cup after winning the Champions League, which they achieved by defeating neighbours Atletico Madrid in the 2015/16 season's final. They will be looking to win the second final of this calendar year.

In the first semi-final, Kashima Antlers registered a comfortable 3-0 win over Colombian outfit Atletico Nacional. The Japanese side created history as they became the first Asian outfit to make it to the final of the Fifa Club World Cup.

Antlers, managed by Masatada Ishii will be targeting another upset when his side take on the 11-time European champions in front of the host nation's fans on Sunday. A victory will see them create history for the second time in less than a week.

Real made it to the finals after defeating Club America 2-0 in the second semi-final. Goals from striker Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo was sufficient for them to make it to the last two of the tournament.

Having won the tournament in 2014, the Spanish capital club managed by Zinedine Zidane will be targeting to win the club's second Fifa Club World Cup this weekend. To achieve that feat, they need to defeat Antlers in Yokohama.
