Prince Harry to visit Singapore for the first time in June

Prince Harry is also scheduled to travel to Sydney to attend the events celebrating the Australian city's hosting of the 2018 Invictus Games.

Britain's Prince Harry is all set to make his first ever visit to Singapore and Sydney in early June this year, according to a statement from the British High Commission Singapore on Tuesday.

The Kensington Palace said in the statement that the32-year-old Prince will be in Singapore to play in the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup, an annual fundraising event. Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho together established the charity named Sentebale in 2006 to provide psychosocial support for children living with HIV in Southern Africa.

According to Sentebale, this would be the first time that the charity polo event will be held in Southeast Asia, and will take place at the Singapore Polo Club on June 5. The statement added that more details will be provided soon.

Prince Harry will also travel to Sydney, where he will be attending events to celebrate the Australian city's hosting of the 2018 Invictus Games. It is international sporting competition founded by the Prince in 2014 for wounded, injured and ill servicemen and women.

Prince Harry, Britain's most eligible bachelor is the second son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. He is the fifth in line for the British throne.
