Popular K-drama Chief Kim to be turned into a book, Webtoon artist to do illustrations

WebToon artist Yang Kyung Soo have been given the task of drawing the illustrations in the said book.

The fans of popular K-drama, "Chief Kim" would be happy to know that though the series is about to end soon, the show is ready to be featured as a book. The popular comedy-drama of KBS has been a big hit among the fans but since only two episodes remaining fans were a little sad about it.

However, seeing the enthusiastic response "Chief Kim" got from its fans, KBS Media decided to publish a show related book. The book will reportedly be covering the work life tips for the fans. The tentative title for the book is revealed to be, Chief Kim's Work Book."

According to Korea Portal, KBS Media is ready to publish the book in April and it will be featuring illustrated episode scenes, best lines, and many other important scenes fans loved.

According to Soompi, WebToon artist Yang Kyung Soo have been given the task of drawing the illustrations in the said book. It wouldn't be difficult for Soo, as he is not new to the comedy-drama "Chief Kim" and collaborated on previous occasions with the series. Reportedly, his work is to create the ending scenes for each of the episodes of the K-drama and that is the reason why he is fit for the job of illustrations for the book. This is reportedly the first collaboration between a WebToon and a Drama, Korea Portal reported.

The cast of the KBS drama will reportedly go for a four day, three night stay in Cébu in the Philippines to celebrate the success of the drama. Though the location is tentative, they will certainly go for a trip after the show ends and after the finale is being aired on March 30, 2017.
