Park Bo Gum and Kim Yuna pair up to endorse Coca-Cola for Pyeongchang Winter Olympics 2018

Park Bo Gum nabbed the first position in Forbes Korea Top 40 Power Celebrities list.

Park Bo Gum is teamed up with the queen of figure skating in Korea, Kim Yuna for a photo shoot with Coca-Cola.

Soompi, reported on Friday that the spokespersons for the campaign of Coca-Cola revealed the reason behind their selection stating that "they bring joy and excitement to people and are loved by Koreans, regardless of age or gender."

Reportedly, for future promotional activities their photo shoot would be used by Coca-Cola, encouraging Koreans to join the Olympics torch relay.

A representative of Coca-Cola as mentioned by Soompi stated: "Despite how long the photo shoot took, Kim Yuna and Park Bo Gum were energetic and proactive, keeping everyone laughing. The duo's special chemistry is set to make Coca-Cola's Pyeongchang Winter Olympics campaign one to anticipate."

Reportedly, the campaign for Coca-Cola by Kim Yuna and Park Bo Gum will be available on "Coke Play," which is a mobile application created by the company to receive applications for the Olympics torch relay and also provide information about the Olympics.

In other news, the popular bromance couple of South Korea, Song Joong-ki and Park Bo Gum were recently ranked as the top two celebrities of the Top 40 Power Celebrities as listed by Forbes Korea. The other celebrities in the list include, TWICE, EXO, BTS, Bae Suzy, Song Hye Kyo, Kim Yoo Jung and Oh Seung Hwan, making up the top 10.

Though, boy/girl bands and actors mainly dominated the list, there were a few more athletes who entered the list, like Lee Se Dol at the 15th spot, Son Heung Min at the 16th spot, Lee Dae Ho at the 20th spot, Ryu Hyun Jin at the 25th spot, Kim Hyun Soo at the 28th spot, Kim Yuna at the 29th spot, Son Yeon Jae at the 32nd spot, Park Byung Ho at the 33rd spot and Park Sung Hyun at the 39th spot. And, the only chef in the list is Baek Jong Won at the 37th spot.
