OnePlus has just announced the official release and pricing details for the highly-rumoured OnePlus 3T smartphone, which succeeds the OnePlus 3 that came out just a few months ago. The OnePlus 3T ships with an upgraded Snapdragon 821 processor chip, which got a debut release on Google Pixel.

OnePlus 3T looks identical to the OnePlus 3, albeit with the exception of upgraded hardware specifications including the new 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB and 128GB storage options, 5.5in full HD optic AMOLED display and 3400mAh battery with dash charging capability.

Among other specifications, the 3T comes with 16MP rear camera with Enhanced Image Stabiliser (EIS) as well as another front camera of the same pixel size and resolution. The new OnePlus phone will run Android 6.0.1 with updated OxygenOS out-of-the-box.

Measuring at just 7.35mm in thickness, the OnePlus 3T weighs in around 158g. It will be powered by a massive 3400mAh battery and will be available in gunmetal (above) as well as soft gold (below) variants.

Quite surprisingly, the OnePlus 3T does not feature the Android Nougat firmware, although the OnePlus 3 is already receiving a Nougat community build sometime later in November. On the flip side, the 3T already boasts some of the latest features taken from the community build.

The OnePlus 3T specs had leaked online just ahead of the official launch. Check out the complete specifications in the leaked screenshot below:

OnePlus 3T is a bit pricey and replaces the OnePlus 3 as the latter is no longer available in the market. The 64GB model of the OnePlus 3T starts at $439 while the 128GB variant costs $479. The 3T is expected to hit US on 22 November while Europe will get it on 28 November.
