HMD Global has launched a series of smartphones this year and now we are waiting for the launch of the much anticipated Nokia 8. Meanwhile, the Finnish company's entry-level Nokia 2 has been spotted on several platforms and now it has been seen on Geekbench listing.

According to the listing, the Nokia 2, codenamed as Unknown Heart is expected to pack in a 1.27GHz Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Geekbench results show a single-core score of 422 and a multi-core score of 1146.

Previously the Nokia 2 was compared with Nokia 3, which has already been launched. According to the leak, Nokia 2 is visibly smaller than the Nokia 3 with onscreen navigation keys, in place of capacitive ones. The phone is actually expected to look a lot similar to the Nokia Lumia 620 smartphone of the earlier days. A launch date for Nokia 2 has not been officially declared yet.

For now, HMD Global is hosting an event in London on August 16 and if earlier reports are to be believed then the company will unveil the premium flagship smartphone model Nokia 8. Previously the phone was scheduled to be launched on July 31.
