The 65th edition of Miss Universe beauty pageant has already started rolling with the preliminary rounds of the contest. A total of 86 beauty queens across the globe are competing in the pageant to win the prestigious crown of Miss Universe.

IBT Singapore has compiled up everything that you need to know ahead of the highly anticipated international beauty pageant on Sunday.

When and where to watch the pageant?

Miss Universe 2017 competition will air live from the Philippines on Sunday, Jan. 29. It will start at 7 pm ET/PT on FOX.

Who is the host for the show?

Steve Harvey, the famous American comedian will be back again to host the three-hour event at the Philippines. He was asked to the host the show this year despite his famous flub last year, where he mistakenly named Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as the new Miss Universe, when the title was supposed to go to the Philippines' Pia Wurtzbach. Reportedly, Harvey told the Miss Universe Organization that he wanted to personally apologize to the Filipinos for making wrong announcement.

Ashley Graham will be serving as the backstage host.

Who are the judges for the 65th edition of Miss Universe pageant?

Dayanara Torres, the former Miss Universe from Puerto Rico; Sushmita Sen, the first ever Miss Universe from India; Leila Lopes, the first Miss Universe from Angola; Mickey Boardman, the editorial director of PAPER magazine; Cynthia Bailey, the founder of The Bailey Agency School of Fashion; and Francine LeFrak, Tony award-winning producer, social entrepreneur and women's empowerment activist.

Who will be performing in the show?

According to reports, the famous American R&B vocal group, Boyz II Men, who are best known for their emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies will be performing at the show. Grammy nominee Flo Rida, an American singer, songwriter and rapper from Carol City will also be taking the stage.
