Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are reportedly eager to start their family. However, an American magazine has come up with claims that the couple are having a hard time to conceive a baby.

A source told In Touch: "It just isn't happening. Miley has always been scared of getting pregnant before she was ready, and now that she finally wants to be a mom, she isn't getting pregnant. It's very frustrating for her."

"She has been doing everything right. She's sober, has been eating really well, she's drinking lots of water and having lots of sex. But there's still no baby," the insider added.

"He knows that Miley is upset, and he's been doing everything he can to ease her mind. He reminds her almost every day that they'll be blessed with a baby when the time is right," the source continued. "She's already been writing lullabies to sing to the baby. She knows in her heart that one day her dream of being a mom will come true. It's just taking longer than expected."

Cyrus and Hemsworth reunited in 2016 after calling off their engagement in 2013. Adding on, the former Disney star had opened up about her engagement ring from Hemsworth.

During an appearance on The Ellen Show, Cyrus talked about the ring on her finger. She said: "This is really weird because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy and they don't look that good together because they kind of mix up so sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney Tune. And he's kind of like what's going on? I am like this isn't really my aesthetic but I'll wear it because you [Liam] love me."
