Masako Mizutani, Japan's 'Lady of Eternal Youth' suggests a diet for looking healthy and young

Masako Mizutani, nicknamed "Japan's Lady of Eternal Youth" has been creating a sensation on internet thanks to some of her photos that have been circulating online. The photos which were originally uploaded recently, on her Instagram shows a lively 20-something face. However, in reality, she's a 49-year old lady who has a 25-year-old daughter. In fact both of them look the same age. So how does she look so young? The fashion magazine model has some answers.

Website Koreaboo, which reported the story recently, says Mizutani, who is also a winner of Japan's "Youthful pageant," follows a strict vegetarian diet to keep her youthful. In addition to this healthy diet choice, she does not consume alcoholic beverages, does not expose her skin to the sun much and spends five hours a day taking care of her skin and body. The results of her dedication are for everyone to see on her Instagram profile.

On her Facebook page Mizutani has shared with everyone, her suggestions for others to maintain a healthy lifestyle and a few beauty tips. Regarding a healthy diet, she says "One should eat fresh healthy food for a young skin and body. Eating right food makes whole lot of difference in one's appearance. One should have a balanced diet and 4-time meal in small portions."

This is an important advice as eating too much leads to obesity, especially when one considers the amount of junk food that we consume today. Also, having an empty stomach is not advisable as it can cause gastrointestinal disorders that can lead to a whole set of other problems.

To maintain a youthful figure, she says "One should do regular workouts and should keep the body and mind active to stay young. One should have enough of sleep and stay away from smoking." It must be said that many of us are told to follow such a routine but we end up ignoring or giving up, leading to stress and diseases that could have been avoided.

For a healthy skin, she suggests eating fruits, milk, nuts and vegetables to rejuvenate the skin. However, taking care of the skin is also needed as it is affected by external factors like dust, dirt and smoke from vehicles. To wash off toxins that accumulate in our body she says drinking lots of water is the key. Water, she says "keeps the skin away from most of the skin problems including black heads and white heads."

Regarding makeup, Mizutani is of the opinion that one should always use age-appropriate make-up. She suggests "one should apply light make up and should wear light shades to look beautiful and forever young."

From her pictures, her skin appears soft, with no visible wrinkles, nothing much that betrays her actual age. She suggests Vitamin-E based lotions. "One should always apply vitamin E based cream or lotions all over the body to keep the skin soft and supple. One should never go out in the sun without applying a sunscreen protection on the uncovered skin parts."

Mizutani concludes her suggestions, saying one should "follow the cleaning, toning and moisturizing regime every night before going to bed. Doing all these things will really help one to retain the natural beauty of the skin and stay young."

These are indeed very helpful suggestions for those seeking to maintain a healthy lifestyle and a youthful face. Buying too many beauty creams for one's face does not do the trick and in the long run is only damaging.
