It was Henrikh Mkhitarayn who opened the scoring for the Red Devils before Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted his 20th goal of the season before the break. Juan Mata extended the lead early in the second half, which was sufficient for Jose Mourinho's side to seal three points.

Watford enter this tie after a narrow win over Burnley, who were reduced to 10-man. Prior to their victory over Sean Dyche's side, the Hornets sealed a 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates.

The last time Watford faced United saw the former register a 3-1 win over Vicarage Road. Walter Mazzarri will be hoping he can seal another victory over the Red Devils in the Premier League on Saturday.
