Malaysia: Children found tied up in nursery; 4 arrested as footage goes viral

The women were arrested after picture of the kids tied up went viral on the internet.

Selangor police have arrested four women from a nursery in Bangi town for allegedly abusing three children after tying them up. According to Bernama, Kajang District Police Chief ACP Othman Nanyan said the detainees are aged between 24 and 46. "Three of the women who were believed to be employees of the nursery were detained in a nursery in Bandar Baru Bangi at 4.20 pm," said the officer, as reported.

"Upon further investigations, another woman aged 46 who is also the manager of the nursery, was detained in an apartment in Bangi at 5pm," he added.

Police came to know about the incident after photos of the abused children went viral on the internet. The kids were seen lying helplessly on the floor with their hands and feet tied and mouths gagged. The children, who were found without any physical injury, have been sent to a hospital for check-ups, said the police chief, as reported.
