Kim Woo Bin puts all his projects on hold to concentrate completely on treatment

Director Choi Dong Hoon of Wiretap has decided to put his production activities on hold and wait for Woo Bin's recovery rather than replacing him.

Kim Woo Bin has put all his upcoming commitments including his forthcoming flick Wiretap on hold to concentrate on his treatment. Earlier this year, Woo Bin revealed that he has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, which is in the first stage. The actor's agency Sidus HQ soon revealed that he has started medication and radiation therapy to cure the illness.

Interestingly, director Choi Dong Hoon of Wiretap has decided to put his production activities on hold and wait for Woo Bin's recovery rather than replacing him. The director was shocked to learn Bin's health conditions and has prioritised his treatment.

A report on All Kpop stated, "Kim Woo Bin is resting, so he can fully concentrate on his treatment. At first, he didn't want to become a burden to the movie so he wanted to continue to film, but all the producers told him to focus on his treatment."

Woo Bin's doctor Jung Yoo-seok has already revealed that the actor will undergo a mix of radiation treatment and medication without surgery due to the uncommon location of his cancer. The physician also clarified that there is a 70 percent recovery chance since it has been diagnosed in the initial stage itself.

On the other hand, Woo Bin's girlfriend Min Ah is playing the perfect girlfriend. In fact, she is accompanying the Heirs actor for every treatment session. The star couple has become the centre point of attraction at the hospital. The two met in a clothing event and has publicly acknowledged their love since 2015.

An entertainment official told Naver, "Every time Kim Woo-bin goes to the hospital for treatment, Shin Min-ae is attracting the attention as well. It is a general hospital, and there are many people who come and go, and they prominently stand out. Despite the problems theory undergo, the couple always has beautiful smiles on their face."
