The Japanese born british novelist, screenwriter and short story writer Kazuo Ishiguro wins the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2017.

Kazuo Ishiguro, the Japanese origin British novelist, screenwriter and short story writer wins the Nobel Prize in Literature 2017.

The Nobel foundation authority described him as "who, in novels of great emotional force, has uncovered the abyss beneath our illusory sense of connection with the world."
