Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik are reportedly hoping to collaborate and make music together. The Baby hitmaker wants to work with the former One Direction member, after listening to his new single featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR.

Malik had released the track Still Got Time, his first single for his upcoming second solo album. A source told The Sun: "Justin has been really complimetnary of Zayn's new music and there have been tentative discussions about them working on something together."

"They are in touch and chatting about all sorts and getting on like a house on fire – Justin even retweeted a link to Zayn's single on his Twitter which he doesn't just do for anyone," the insider added.

This report comes months after Bieber suggested that Selena Gomez cheated on him with the British boy band member. According to screenshots taken by fans, the rift started after Bieber threatened to make his Instagram private due to hateful comments towards his rumoured girlfriend, Sofia Richie. The original comment from Gomez apparently read: "If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol. it should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you."

Bieber replied: "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love...I'm not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers."

The Come and Get It singer responded: "Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love."

The Sorry singer reportedly stated: "I cheated... Oh I forgot about you and Zayn?"

The fight ended after Bieber deleted his Instagram account.
