Jimmy Kimmel invites K-pop band BTS on his show

BTS will be dropping in to film for the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show while on their visit to Los Angeles for the 2017 AMAs(American Music Awards) which is being held on November 19.

After breaking the top 10 on the Billboard album chart, BTS is set for a whole new international journey. According to reports, the popular boy band will soon be appearing on popular US talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live".

BTS will be dropping in to film for the show while on their visit to Los Angeles for the 2017 AMAs(American Music Awards) which is being held on November 19.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live show" is an L.A based late-night show starring Jimmy and featuring interviews and musical performances. The program has been airing on broadcasting station ABC since 2003.

Previously the executive producer of The Ellen DeGeneres Show tweeted confirming BTS's invitation and the following that, BTS fans caused a frenzy on Twitter.

A source from Big Hit responded on November 3, saying, "We've been receiving offers to appear on various international television programs, and The Ellen Show is one of them. BTS's appearance on the show has not yet been confirmed."

BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys and Beyond the Scene is a seven-member boy band launched by Big Hit Entertainment. The group made their debut with "No more Dream" from their first single 2 Cool 4 Skool on June 13, 2013.

The major reason behind the band's success is their consistent interaction and engagement with fans through social media platforms like Twitter, video blogs as well as releasing songs via their YouTube page.

The popular boy band will soon make their debut televised performance at the American Music Awards this November. The band will play their Billboard Hot 100 hit "DNA" for the annual event.

Till date, BTS is the only Korean band to have ever broken the Top 10 on the Billboard album chart and if they appear on Ellen DeGeneres show, they will the one to do so in the K-pop history.
