Amid confusion and rumours, it has been finally confirmed that Jessica Alba was approached by Taewon Entertainment to star in an upcoming movie based on Korean war. So now it looks certain that the actress will star in the movie unofficially named 'Battle of Jangsari'.

The news of Jessica Alba performing in an upcoming Korean film surfaced earlier this month. It was also being said that the actress was asked to play the role of Marguerite Higgins, the Pulitzer prize winner for her popular book, War in Korea. Marguerite Higgins was the first American war correspondent and reporter.

However, on February 6, Alba's agency revealed that they have not been contacted for any such offers or any such role. An insider close to Jessica Alba's agency also informed that they are confused regarding the statement they need to release and whether they should confirm the news or simply decline it.

But all the confusion and speculations were cleared by Taewon entertainment's CEO Jung Tae Won's statement. As reported by Koreaboo, the CEO of the entertainment agency responded to the report by saying: "We have simply looked into how much her guarantee would be and if her schedule would allow for this. As I have mentioned before we have not made her an offer yet. We can't. The scenario is not complete, when we complete the scenario and complete the translation we plan to make her an offer. I stated these things because Jessica Alba is used to filming in foreign locations and she is also fond of Korea. I judged that given these situations and after looking into her usual conditions it seemed very possible to have her star in our movie."
