Indonesia Open, the season's third World Supersereis Premier after All England and Malaysia Open begins in Jakarta on 12 June with quite a few big names gunning for glory.

Defending champions Lee Chong Wei and Tai Tzu Ying have been in good form so far in the season and are favourites to retain their titles. Also, the Malaysian shuttler is eyeing a seventh title, which will help him surpass Indonesia greats Ardy Wiranata and Taufik Hidayat's record of six titles each.

Tricky tests for Chong Wei

Chong Wei though has a tough road ahead as he is likely to face in-form reigning Olympic champion Chen Long in the quarter-final. Notably, the Malaysian legend has a tricky opening-round test against Tommy Sugiarto of Indonesia.

Third seed Viktor Axelsen headlines the second quarter, gearing up to face a qualifier in the opening round. The Dane will likely take on All England runner-up Shi Yuqi in the quarter-final.

Lin handed easier draw

Two-time Olympic champion Lin Dan, who opens his campaign against Taiwan's Tzu Wei Wang, is likely to face compatriot Tian Houwei as early as the second round and is drawn in the same half that has world number two Son Wan Ho and Singapore Open champion Sai Praneeth.

Saina Nehwal faces uphill task

In the Women's singles Tai, who has won five Superseries title on the trot, is expected to face eighth seed Ratchanok Intanon or former world number one Saina Nehwal of India in the quarter-final before a possible semi-final test against Akane Yamaguchi.

Sindhu, Marin in same half

India's PV Sindhu, reigning Olympic champion Carolina Marin and fifth seed Sung Ji Hyun are all in the same half, which is expected to witness quite a few cracking contests.
