The highly-anticipated Creators Update for Windows 10 is officially set for release on 11 April while Microsoft has offered a second chance to gain early access to the update, ahead of its official release. The company has recently announced in its official blog post that those who missed the earlier opportunity to download the ISO file can now get it manually via the Update Assistant method at a simple flick of the switch.

Although the Creators Update is all set to install automatically on supported Windows computers on 11 April, users may choose to download the same manually ahead of time (starting 5 April) via Update Assistant and install it.

"For those of you who are eager to get the Creators Update right away, you will be able to initiate the update manually, starting on April 5th, via Update Assistant. This option is intended for advanced users on devices running a licensed version of Windows 10."

Unfortunately, there is no such privilege for Windows mobile users as they will have to wait until 25 April for Microsoft to roll out the Creators Update over-the-air (OTA).
