Google, uBreakiFix join hands to help Hurricane Harvey victims

Hurricane Harvey has caused an unparalleled amount of rainfall in the US that Google, uBreakiFix and others have joined hands to help the victims

Hurricane Harvey has caused a record amount of rainfall in the continental US, said the National Weather Service. In the wake of this "unprecedented" storm, all the industry biggies are offering as much as they could. Now, Google and phone repair company uBreakiFix have come forward together to lend a helping hand.

The companies are offering to repair all the Pixel phones at seven Houston area uBreakiFix locations without charging a penny, until September 30. uBreakiFix announced the news on a blog post, however, it didn't make it clear if water damage is covered by this deal. Considering the fact that Google's flagship devices are not very well protected against water, like many other high-end smartphones, users are hoping that water damage will be included.
