Indie two-member band Rocoberry, who composed some of the most popular tracks for tvN's 'Goblin,' has opened up about their experiences while contributing to the soundtrack of the drama.

As reported by Soompi, the duo, Roco and Conan said they were proud being a part of the production and were happy that the drama and the songs were so well received. "We didn't expect it to become so well-received. Because it received more love than we expected, our feelings of pride and gratification have doubled," Conan said.

Roco is a vocalist and lyricist and the face of the two-member band. Conan is a lyricist and composes the songs in addition to voicing the chorus. Conan wears a Teddy Bear mask and that is also his nickname. Nobody knows what he looks like. For 'Goblin: The Lonely and Great God,' they composed Ailee's "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow," Soyou's "I Miss You," and the 'Goblin' theme song, "Stay With Me," sung by EXO's Chanyeol and Punch.

Conan said he feels the most attached to "I Will Go to You Like The First Snow." He also talked about how he handled a specific type of song requested by the production team, which eventually became the song mentioned above. "The production team asked for a song that conveys suffering and beauty concurrently," he said, adding "I repeatedly thought over how to express the strange feeling of beautiful sadness. During that period, it was to the point where 12 songs were rejected. After the song was finally chosen, it went through seven modifications."

Conan informed that during the recording session, Ailee was unwell and thanked her for her perseverance in singing the song, beautifully, for the duo. He also revealed that watching the very last scene which featured one of his songs, made him very emotional. "I cried because I was so touched by Kim Go Eun's acting," Conan said.

In fact, all the cast members did great with whatever material they were offered. Gong Yoo, Lee Dong-wook and Yoo In-naa also displayed remarkable emotional maturity and transformation as the drama proceeded towards its closure. However, Kim Go-eun, with her childlike innocence and genuineness in her portrayal of a young girl who faced so many misfortunes in life, stole everyone's heart.

Conan also added that it was the effort of the entire team of 'Goblin' who toiled hard and made the drama a success. "Screenwriter Kim Eun Sook's script blended well with the cast's acting, so I think our music followed suit and found the light. Since the beginning, the 'Goblin' team was worth trusting. It was a dream team," he said.
