Girl group Twice creates history; debut song reaches 100 million mark on YouTube

This is for the first time than any debut Korean act has reached 100 million mark.

On 11 November, the girl band Twice's debut song "Like OOH-AHH" hit 100 million YouTube views after its release in October 2015. This is for the first time any debut Korean act has reached the 100 million mark.

The South Korean band was formed in 2015 and they debuted with the mini-album The Story Begins. The JYP Entertainment-created band was formed through a reality show called Sixteen and has nine members.

After this huge success, the band members and their fans expect that their second album's most high-profile track "Cheer Up" will reach this mark soon. "Cheer Up" was released in April 2016.

The popular band is also set to make its second appearance on the 'Running Man'. The show's agency SNS shared some photos of Twice and the 'Running Man' members together from the shoot in Busan.
