Galaxy Note 5 users in Korea are in for some great news as Samsung has just started rolling out its first Nougat over-the-air (OTA) update for the handset with build number N920SKSU2DQC7. The new Android 7.0 build is exclusively meant for the Korean variant of Note 5.

The dual-SIM variant of Note 5 had received the new Nougat update just a few days ago, following its India release late last month. The Korean update will also feature the latest security patch for Android 7.0, along the lines of the Sprint Galaxy Note 5 which got its update in March.

As the update is being rolled out in a phased manner, the Korean users of Note 5 handset should soon start seeing the OTA update notification.

However, those who cannot wait for the official release of Nougat update in their country or region may go ahead and check for the update manually via the Settings app. It is advisable to connect your handset to a high-bandwidth Wi-Fi network and keep its battery fully charged, before you start the OTA installation.
