Former contestants on the Korean survival TV show "Produce 101" who did not make it to the Top 11 winners have set their own debuts and career plans.

Kim Samuel, who finished in 18th place, will be debuting as a solo artist with an album to be released in August. He was one of the most popular contestants on the show but failed to win in the finals.

During an online live broadcast, he revealed that the title track of his solo album is "Sixteen" along with "I'm Ready," "1, 2, 3," "With You" and "I Got It."

Fans have started a petition to include him in the Wanna One boy band, composed of the 11 winners.

"I feel how sincerely sad fans are, and I'm surprised and grateful. Whenever I receive that kind of news or letters of support, it gives me a lot of strength. This isn't the end, it's only the start, so please keep watching me," he said, according to Soompi.

Yoo Hwi Seung has been added as the member of boy band N.Flying, according to FNC Entertainment while Park Sung Woo has been cast in a web drama "The Omniscient Viewpoint on Crushes," which will begin filming in July.

Kim Sung Ri will also make his solo debut.

"I am currently preparing to release music under my name. I am trying to [debut] as a solo artist as soon as possible," he said, Soompi reported. "It would be a great honor to sing duets with artists like Kim Bum Soo and Park Hyo Shin. I would also like to receive music from Dean and Crush someday. I will try my best to have these opportunities come to me."

Jung Dong Soo and Kim Nam Hyung have formed a duo called AA and will be making their debut in Korea. They are members of boy band Offroad who opted to join "Produce 101" just like NU'EST.

On the other hand, Jang Moon Bok appeared on the TV program "SNL Korea."

Jung Se Woon, who finished in 12th place, drew crowd when he performed as guest at the MIND U busking event in Seoul.
