Samsung is widely touted to unveil its highly-anticipated Galaxy flagship phones (the S8 and S8 Plus) at the forthcoming Unpacked Event on 29 March. Meanwhile, the renowned tipster Roland Quandt has just leaked the pricing details via Twitter along with the various colour variants available for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus at the time of launch.
If there is any truth to the leak, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be priced at €799 and €899 respectively, which makes them dearer by €99 in comparison to the Galaxy S7 Edge. As far as the various colour options are concerned, both the S8 and S8 Plus will be available in Black, Silver and Violet as per the latest retail listings.
As Roland clarifies, these prices are valid for those Galaxy S8 models sold in Europe only, and there could be pricing variations in other countries or regions. Besides, the source of the leak points to some unconfirmed European retail stores and hence such reports should be taken with a pinch of salt.
