Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's marriage is reportedly in trouble. According to a new report in National Enquirer, the couple fought over food after a party for the Oscar host's 20-year anniversary of coming out.

A source said: "Portia kept trying to talk to Ellen, but Ellen wouldn't even look at her as she screeched out of the parking lot."

"Even though Portia is through the worst of her eating disorder, Ellen watches every bite she takes," the insider added. "By the end of the meal, they were both seething."

Previously, Rossi had opened up about the horrifying ordeals she went through in order to become a successful model. She said at the tender age of 12, she was asked to lose weight and as a result, she did not eat for more than a week for a catwalk job.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, she opened up about her long history with bulimia and anorexia, both serious eating disorders she already had to deal with this even before she reached her teenage years. She said: "I felt tremendous responsibility when I was 12 years old and I was put on a catwalk. My modeling agents had told me to go on a diet, so I didn't eat for 10 days before then."

DeGeneres married the Australian-American actress in 2008 at their home in Beverly Hills after the state of California lifted its ban on same-sex marriages.

Previously, DeGeneres had gushed about Rossi. She told People: "I'm grateful for everything. I'm grateful for my health, and I'm so grateful for the love in my life. Because not everybody finds that. Not everybody finds that best friend."

"Portia and I constantly say to each other, 'We are so lucky.' Sometimes it's lying in bed at night before I go to sleep, and I just say thank you to whatever, whoever is out there. I've gotten to a place where I really am just settled. Really. I know that I'm not going anywhere. She's not going anywhere. I'm not saying the relationship took a while; I'm saying in my life, it took a while to find this," she added.
