Download Kodi 64-bit for iOS 11 to avoid issues

The Kodi 32-bit app is no longer supported in iOS 11 betas and final iOS 11 version.


In the wake of Apple's outdated apps crackdown on App Store, thousands of apps have been affected or ceased to work properly. Most of these apps were made by third-party developers. Open-source software applications are not exempted by the new rule.

In fact, the Kodi media player app may have been affected. Kodi is available to Windows, Mac, Android and iOS operating systems.

Some iPhone and iPad owners whose devices run on iOS 11 beta may have experienced some glitches with their Kodi app. Most versions of the app are still in 32-bit, which is the primary reason why there seem to be lots of problems running it.

Recently, Apple has noted in its iOS 11 Beta 10 changelog that it will no longer be supporting 32-bit apps in future iOS 11 beta. Since 2013, Apple has been reminding third-party app developers to update outdated apps. This time, Apple is finally doing an unrelenting move to improve the user experience of Apple device owners.
