The popular stars of South Korean entertainment industry, Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo may end up meeting each other in New York, this year.

According to the reports, fans are participating in the DramaFever Awards and fans are anticipating that their favorite SongSong couple will win Best Couple or Best Kiss or Best Actor/Actress categories.

And if not, their drama Descendants of the Sun could win is the Best Ensemble and Best Korean Drama award.

As the DramaFever Awards are usually held in The Big Apple, Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo may land up in New York if they win.

The awards event is hosted by Kmart and the Korea Tourism Organization, and it works through online voting. Fans choose their favorite actors, dramas and other categories by voting for them online.

The huge fan following of Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo is evident that they have a huge change to win. In fact, Descendants of the Sun may have ended last year but it still bagged a lot of awards this year and is one of the most talked about drama even now.

The media company said on its website that the winners of the fifth DramaFever awards will be announced in May.

If this actually happen DOTS fans and particularly SongSong fans will be extremely happy. The last time they were seen together is during their first anniversary of Descendants of the Sun in March. It was a reunion of the entire crew along with the lead actors of the drama.

In fact, the chemistry of Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo seemed so real on-screen that fans suspect that they are couple in real-life as well.

The rumours are rife that the SongSong couple are dating in real life but it is not known if they are true as the actors did not confirm anything like that officially.
