The virus has also claimed the lives of over 804,000 people globally and is currently spreading like wildfire infecting people in more than 1760 nations. Scientists are currently working at a war-like speed to find a cure for the disease.
More than 100 vaccine candidates are currently under different stages of trials. Russia, however, has registered a vaccine that it claims to be the first vaccine for the disease and also claims that the vaccine is safe.
