Super Junior star Choi Siwon's recent dog bite incident has caused a stir in the social networking sites. On October 20, media reported the death of restaurant owner Kim after a dog attack. Incidentally, the dob was owned by Choi's family.

Soon, the actor issued a heartfelt apology on his Twitter handle. "Toward the family of the deceased, who must be suffering from the great shock and sorrow of losing a loved one. I feel deeply apologetic after hearing about the situation regarding our family's dog. I offer my most sincere condolences toward the family of the deceased."

"I feel strongly responsible as a member of a family who raises a dog. I am currently deeply reflecting for failing to supervise strictly, which led to carelessness and a shocking event. I will do my duty to make sure such an event does not happen again. I apologise for worrying you. I pray a happy afterlife for the deceased," he added.

However, netizens have bombarded the online page of tvN's drama 'Revolutionary Love' that also marks the Choi's comeback being discharged from the military service in August. Fans are demanding for the replacement of the actor. The channel is yet to react on the issue.

On the other hand, the deceased family of the restaurant owner has forgiven Choi's family and has decided not to take any legal action. A family member stated in an interview to Soompi that they are close neighbours with the Choi's family and proceeding with a legal action will not bring her sister back. "Choi Siwon visited our family several times to apologize. He even cried at the funeral. I held onto his two hands and forgave him," she added.
