If you are the one who loves to cuddle your puppies, then make sure that you are not doing it for the next few months, till the infection is brought under control. Puppy kisses should be discouraged, and make sure that your pet is not licking any kinds of wounds in your body.

After touching your dog, always ensure that you are washing your hands properly without fail. If you are infected, drink lots of water to stay hydrated. If you find the symptoms persist for more than two days, then do not hesitate to visit your physician.
